Meanwhile, the plot to rig the midterms is underway. They'd not be doing this if they were confident of victory by legitimate means. The seizing of ballots from Fulton is part of the testing of what they can get away with.

I predict ICE will be pulling people from outside polling stations.

That's just one of the ways they want to intimidate people (especially people of colour). Even if ICE isn't there brandishing handcuffs and guns, if they can get the fear of that widespread enough, that would serve the purpose.

Trump is lining up as many ways as possible to 'tip the balance' in his favour (including ID requirements that disfavour immigrants), with the insurance policy of taking control of counting.

It might be all hit-and-miss, given the competence of the regime, but if they attack the process in enough ways, the hope will be that (especially with the lunacy of the winner-takes-all electoral college system) that will be enough.

It won't intimidate black communities. They still retain historic resistance.

Until Trump make the criteria even tighter.

That's future fear, not evidence. It is possible that even with interference given the polls, the swing will happen.
November is 6 months away and look at the state of the economy in 1 year with every indication, it's still going south and will continue going south. No amount of propaganda and lies can hide reality.

Anyhoo, Bitcoin and corrupto currencies are crashing.
Billions wiped off the value. It's todays headlines.

Bessent was grilled in front of the senate and asked why there were 100 financial institutions removed by Trump in his first month in office, something he couldn't answer and squirmed about a bit and then started talking about Biden to which the examiner cut him off instantly.
The member of the Financial oversight committee said that the disbanding of those Financial service institutions amounted to a predicted of $3.1bn in fraud and banking impropriety.

I hope you're right, but the states and an army of lawyers will need to remain on high alert, because Trump's lackeys will try to overwhelm the system.

Well, a) I am not saying that Trump might not add another layer of bureaucracy but until it actually happens, I won't enter into whatiffery and b) traditionally, voter turnout is about 52% of those eligible.

What we have seen (of 26 state elections IIRC, only 2 stayed Red) is people turning out to vote in much higher numbers for what is usually very low turnout in 'local' elections. I think this is telling. This administration is so despised that it is mobilising people who don't normally vote.
My feelings are that the hardcore anti-woke MAGA base will make up less than 30% of the electorate. They have always been there, just in a different guise normally involving white pillow slips with holes cut out of them.
What I find slightly disparaging, is the lack of an emerging Democratic contender, a lack of change in the Democratic party. On that note, one commentator said that a candidate could ride on transparency of Epstein files almost entirely with the poor state of the economy being a given.
