Two weeks ago armed US Marshals arrived with DOGE at a US Government building to take over the US African Development Foundation. A body which in 2024 made a budget request to Congress of $46m.
Then last Friday the US Institute of Peace (2023 federal funding $55m) was visited by DOGE and agents from the FBI. That visit was rebuffed, so on Monday evening DOGE visited the premises again and took over the building.
