I assume you mean 'sectionable'. Not sure what terminology they use in America for that, but it's way past 25th Amendment time at least, even if they don't forcibly detain him for his own safety.

I'm worried about my Dad's condition and he is far more cognitive than Donnie.

'Sectioning' is really a horrible thing, particularly if it's done completely against the wishes of the 'sectionee', and quite rightly has a very high bar, especially where it involves forced medication or other treatment in order to safeguard the health or wellbeing of the individual or members of the public.

I had hopes till I found out that the (president-appointed) cabinet has to agree he's away with the fairies before anyone else even gets a look in. Doesn't seem much of a safeguard really.
