As I was saying about the Salvadorian president & the press conference... this is spot on. The aim is to show Trump can defy any court orders and be an absolute ruler & king.
You were watching a different discussion to the one I saw
The average EU tariff on the US was about 2.5% last year, and vice versa about 1.5%.Why when USA has lower import duties than most. USA is clearly penalised with trade barriers.
Trump wants to rebalance US trade

Is that 1% the problem? Or is it more a problem of large shoot cars that do t even handle well in a straight line, and food with too much corn syrup and steroids?
Simple solution. Stop trying to export substandard food.Agriculture: Up to 25% on certain U.S. products like dairy, meat, and grains due to strict EU standards.
The US failed to agree the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership with the EU, which would have eliminated this tariff. The USA therefore gets the same tariff as any other non-EU nation.Automotive: 10% on U.S. cars, compared to the U.S.’s 2.5% on EU cars, a frequent U.S. complaint.
See above.Textiles and apparel: Rates between 8-12% on U.S. clothing and footwear.

Of course none of that matters at all. The EU doesn't import American cars because they are crap and don't fit our roads. They don't import American clothes and footwear because they are made in China, not in America. TTIP would have eliminated their tariff on those foods the EU does import such as soybeans. They didn't want to do that.
The main export from the US to the EU is soybeans. Billions of dollars worth. The EU and China both import those huge volumes. Guess what, you can get soybeans from Brazil, Argentina, Canada and Paraguay. I'm sure Brazil's prices will have gone up due to demand, but as long as they undercut the moron in the White House, they can coin it in.
You mean you don't like chlorinated chicken, milk that might as well be white water and beef pumped full of hormones?!
