The good thing is that whilst they are engaged with fighting each other they won’t be doing anything else. Hopefully this will mean the Senate and Congress can get on with governing. I am expecting the Sharpie to make an appearance to sign an executive order banning Musk from posting on X though.

Fat chance. The public spat will just serve as cover for more gilleadisation.

First part of a settlement. Not everyone lost everything. How would you have handled it?

It's derisory, money at the initial point is irrelevant. Shelter, food, sanitation, communications are the priority. Biden did very little, very slowly. Fema were actively stopping locals co ordinating rescue efforts in the early stages, threatening them with federal charges, confiscating basics for stranded folk

Eventually after social media became outraged then Fema started to get their act together

Putin attacks civilians in overnight bombing as retaliation. Because he is a c*nt and because he was humiliated. This would have normally been headline news over the past week or so but instead, real events are being overshadowed by the sparring pricks.
Trump apparently miffed that he wasn't informed about the planned Ukrainian drone strike. Like he's trustworthy?! FFS Dementia Don, you're a fool.

Brought to us by 2 Americans actually in the Ukraine. Respect to you both.

"Against stupidity we are defenceless. Neither protest nor force can touch it: arguments fall on deaf ears. Evil always carries the seeds of it's own undoing - it creates unease. But stupidity feels self-satisfied, immune, and convinced of it' own rightness. And that makes it far more dangerous."

In the light of the very public spat between the rapist and the meglomanic, I would anticipate there being a number of Attorneys General contacting Musk's lawyers for depositions from Musk in relation to the activities of DOGE.
Investigators and prosecutors will know from experience that former spouses, former business partners, former employees and other ex's, can be a goldmine of information. Any loyalty that may have been held towards the person or organisation of interest, may have evaporated in the acrimony, thus making the ex significant to finding the where the bodies, financial or otherwise, are buried.
If Musk is found not to have been properly appointed, all his activities under DOGE could be outside the law. Leaving the orange rapist's administration facing thousands of additional lawsuits from "fired" employees and probably facing very hefty compensation claims.
The ex bros. Could actually be quite fitting given Musk's rebranding of some of his financial ventures.

I suspect they are both desperately seeking to de-escalate and quickly/soon. probably also engaging 3rd parties to try and find a way they can both declare some "success".

I think Musk transitioned to the more money than sense category some time ago. He seems not that concerned that his business net worth is taking a hit. Possibly because he has 36.5 years left to fix it after the orange senile departs the scene.
