Bernie Sanders tried to put an amendment into the BBB. He wanted all prescription drug prices cut in half for all senior citizens receiving medicare. Every single Democrat voted in favour of it. All the Republicans voted against it. The same group of Trump supporters were convinced that it was Trump who was trying to lower the prescription prices because he signed some executive order. They are now turning it on it's head saying that it is the Democrats that are trying to block the amendment!
Another Democratic amendment was to try and make sure no children were kicked off of food stamps (SNAP). All the Democrats voted for it, all the Republicans voted...
