Non subscriber. General gist is that whilst not in recession, many states and sectors are showing signs of it. The economy as a whole is being propped up by big states like Texas and New York as well as a small number of sectors like healthcare and AI.

Manufacturing, agriculture and construction are all showing signs of recession. For the first time since 2021, number of job seekers has outstripped number of vacancies.

Basically whilst the economy is staying a float it is precarious, if remove AI then private investment and GDP growth is minimal. Consumer spending is only being propped up by increased private healthcare coats, otherwise this would be in negative growth.

I'm quite sure that Epstein had great skill in pulling powerful people into his circle. Anyone implicated in anything illegal or immoral as a result deserves everything coming to them.
