I’m guessing no charges will be brought against those who projected the images in Windsor. It seems a stretch that projecting newspaper reports would be considered ‘malicious communications’. I guess it’s just so Trump thinks something is being done.

I guess if they were trespassing to do it maybe.

Was it Led by Donkeys by any chance?

Surely they would have used a different reason for arrest then? Trespass isn’t generally a criminal offence in the UK (although I’m sure there is something that means it is on crown property). I assume it was projected from a nearby property/ hotel room as they would have been stopped if setting up on the street. If it’s malicious communication then presumably the same would have applied to any newsstand displaying the articles at the time. I was surprised they didn’t go for ‘public order offences’ as that seems to be the catch all for dealing with protests the government don’t like.

Just a bit:
Malicious communication is sending a message that is threatening, indecent, grossly offensive, or a known falsehood, with the intent to cause the recipient distress or anxiety.
Hard to see how published and verifiable content could be considered any of the above. Unless you argue that sending a message to cause the recipient distress falls under the charge.

I'm glad they've found something to poke fun at again. It's not like there's been anything worth satirising in the news lately, like oh I dont know, 2 high profile resignations from government, the collapse of the economy whilst ministers continue to trouser freebies, a floundering, lying PM who is living on borrowed time. Stick it to the Yanks though lads!!

Well, this is the visit that resulted from Starmer @rse licking Trump as soon as the tangoed one became president again.
aparently he's been given the largest ever guard of honour of any state visit ever, but it's all behind closed doors because they are worried that the public hate Trump and don't want Donny getting upset.
He shouldn't be here on a state visit, and certainly UK tax payers shouldn't be footing the bill.

I would agree with that, plus, I do hope UK Taxpayers are not footing the bill for Harry visiting Ukraine (or anywhere else for that matter).

Can't really argue with that, but, shouldn't. the authorities have just let them get on with it, thus demonstrating that, contrary to popular (USA) belief, we do have freedom of speech in the UK? 😊

Just had James O'Brien (yeah, I know...) on in the background eulogising Starmer for "playing a blinder" & using the hackneyed school bully metaphor to do so.

Presumably when he was at school, he decided the best way to deal with the bully wasn't just not fighting back when he took your lunch money - but instead handing it over, inviting him round for tea, then giving him the contents of your mum's purse while she stands & watches, and then (this being Trump) offering him a shot on your 14 year-old sister.

I'm shocked that they ignored your emailed agenda and list of 2025/26 Objectives.

It wasn't Led by Donkeys although they did post footage of it on their Instagram. Their last video was UK Lawyers for Israel a month ago.

I am not religious but this is a very powerful sermon at the Alfred street Baptist church. Let's not forget (there has been some whitewashing from some people on here - a dismissive 'it's free speech' and what Kirk wasn't that bad, he was measured and calm and engaged with people - his method of delivery should be immaterial to the content.
This is a black Pastor, he represents a predominantly black congregation. We don't really need to have an exhaustive list of Kirk's comments and his POV to ponder to allow the benefit of doubt, the racism alone speaks more volumes than a lot of the other shyte he spouted. They are on the receiving end of the racism metered out by white supremacists of which, Kirk was:

'How you die doesn't not redeem how you lived'
'I can be sorry about your death but I do not have to celebrate how you chose to live'

Has anybody here said that?

Lots of videos out there of black people who were fans of Kirk btw.
