Trump doesn't have friends. He has people who are useful to him and those who stroke his ego.

When he kicks the bucket/goes totally doolally we shall know how many 'friends' he had/has.

Watch the knife getting put in - especially regarding the Epstein files.
Sure there will be plenty of loyal MAGA's mourning their talisman but the one's vying for power will make I Claudius look like a summer picnic with fairies and cup cakes.

Unfortunately, when discerning individuals step down (FBI?), it leaves a void which can be filled by a sycophantic brownshirt.
I hope there is sufficient depth and integrity in the US army, I still have faith until proven otherwise.

First stuff leaking out 'via sources' is that Hegseth had to to overrule the general who resigned, as the general wasn't prepared to countenance illegal strikes. I suspect that'll give more than a little pause for thought amongst the other generals.

Yes, that's why I typed "friends".
How they don't learn I don't know. I presume they think that they are smarter than him (not hard) but they are less devious.

It was a straight question (and partly rhetorical).
It was also directed at people whom I find reasonable. Therefore, there's no ulterior motive.
Everyone has it reasons, i'm not saying you should engage with posters you do not like, where i have a problem with it the ''orgy up'' mentality whilst orgies can be nice and exciting, not everyone likes to hear about these experiences.. but i'm getting off topic here.
The point it not your personal choice to engage with whoever you want i think the ''advisories'' are wrong. If you like you said direct it at people you find reasonable, why not reasonable assume they are able to make their own decisions and or mistakes?

I made the mistake myself - perhaps it was arrogance to assume that I could use reason Perhaps I took pleasure in having a 'pop' and in all honesty, the cr4p the exudes from CXRAndy deserves ridicule, it warrants criticism. Though the glaring moral vacuum many find abhorrent and anyone with a modicum of moral fibre will be tempted to say 'Well, hang on a minute...'. That's only natural.
I make them all the time, alltough not often with CVRAndy but more with the childish clan that starts and discussion and when i then disagree and they turn out to have a distinguis lack of argument they start making fun of me.
But (and it is a big 'but') there is no reasoning with him and he can sit in his ivory tower and be oblivious to the contradictions and brush off any attempts at pointing out facts. He will be immune to the effects of Medicare/tax credit cuts/the attempt at demolishing democracy and the corruption and a looming recession; it won't touch him. Tough and peerless, strong as wrought iron, thick as pigsh!t*.

*That is, if he's not simply trolling. Either way, both scenarios are quite damming.
Think for a large part it's the last line, but i don't like to talk about other forum users as if they are not here, when they are perfectly capable of defending themselves. ( If they don't is off course their own choice)
Lets not forget on a larger scale thing like this (one side ignoring or calling to ignore the arguments of the other side) is what feeds those with easy points but no real arguments, like Nigel *every so much years a other party* Farage or Donald *can't count the amount of times i went bankrupt* Trump

This is completely normal behaviour. In a dictatorship. (In bold by me)

"US President Donald Trump has commuted the prison sentence of George Santos, a former Republican Congressman who is serving seven years for fraud and identify theft, and ordered his immediate release.
In a post on social media, Trump said Santos "has been horribly mistreated", adding: "Therefore, I just signed a Commutation, releasing George Santos from prison, IMMEDIATELY."
The former lawmaker was only the sixth in US history to be expelled from Congress, after an ethics report in 2023 found dozens of damning charges.
Santos, who admitted to stealing the identities of 11 people - including family members, is currently serving his sentence at a minimum-security jail in New Jersey."

When funds are allocated by congress to districts, the allocation is binding. Despite being totally unconstitutional, Trump has prevented £27bn from being distributed to Blue states and only $1bn to Red states.
This administration is a bunch of @rseholes.

Peter Thiel (tech billionaire) has been giving lectures all over the US. These are private functions and tickets are $200 dollars a piece.
Thiel is saying in these lectures that Greta Thunberg and environmentalists are the antichrist. That they will destroy humanity and that putting controls on Ai is to the detriment of society and humanity.
There should be no controls on AI. Competition creates rivals and is not good for the customer and we need complete decentralisation of govt. ... yada yada yada. It's basically to justify monopolisation (and possibly create AI that will download his soul into computerised infinity).
Where has the ethos gone when billionaires want to leave a positive thumbprint? They have all that money and they could be leaving positive legacies, creating foundations and trusts but no, they have become highly narcissistic control freaks. Computers, tech and AI is the perfect petri dish to grow these f*ckers in abundance.
The rise of the super nerd. This is what happens when a nerd becomes very wealthy. There is a glaring lack of humanity in them and it seems that the wealthier they are, the less they care.

He said he would cut democrats projects first when the democrats shutdown government.

All available recouped costs will go to pay for miltary, ICE, police and national guard personnel

Social media, online purchases, 24 food delivery. It’s all designed by IT nerds who have zero people skills and just want to limit human interactions.

The mega nerd has zero empathy and no people skills.

It’s scary that we have given these people so much power.
