I do not honestly know how the Americans fight against this level of manipulation and control.

It's bizarre from a UK perspective but you may as well replace 'peaceful protest' with 'grocery store' or 'football game'

I say being stood in the middle of the road, blocking traffic impeding the federal agents, carrying an automatic hand gun is a person wanting confrontation.

Neither have I, because it's not clear exactly what happened to me.

So we have to go off, why was he there, why did he actively confront federal agents, why didn't he retreat when peppered sprayed, why did he have his gun with him?
