From best selling NYT journalist Miles Taylor's book on the ballroom - but more, the bunker:

During the Jan 6th insurrection, Trump was taken to a secure underground location. The location was probably not up to his expectations as he's all about the aesthetics. The suggestion by the author is that in Trump's head, he wants a bunker that he is willing to spend time in.
This, on top of the fact that Trump in his mind has 3 options (of which one is the only real exit), he stays in power or he looses power and he still faces imprisonment - especially given the grifting charges that would be brought against him. You can work out option 3.
Miles worked on the DHS during Trump 1.0 and knows him well.

Does this mean that he is going to lock himself in the bunker November 2028?

I think he thinks he's not moving unless it's in a coffin.

I think that the Associated Press just pooped its pants. It's certainly not doing journalism.

It's getting starker and starker: Trump judicial nominees simply unwilling to recognise the 22nd Amendment, which is totally clear. Really worth watching the short video. Genuinely extraordinary.

"No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice."

Sums everything up.

It's almost as if Coons is asking "Can you confirm that the sun rises in the morning in the east, and sets in the evening in the west?", and because Trump hasn't expressed a view that they won't confirm it. It's as bonkers as that.

I think I'd get each one to read out the sentence from the Constitution, and get them to confirm that Trump has been elected twice. Maybe just leave it there.

A true MAGAlyte would say that he is already in his 3rd term.
