The gulf states need to urgently start co-operating and tell the US to f*ck off.
Joking aside, US influence there is doing to fall, as and when the gulf states get to decision points on air bases. Iran has basically indicated that if you have one, the entire country is fair game.FTFY
Judge has stepped in to halt anti-weaponisation fund. I guess he was concerned that the anti-weaponisation fund would get weaponised.
US judge halts Trump's $1.8bn 'anti-weaponisation' fund
It would be nice to think that these emphatic judicial reversals would give the growing number of people opposed to Trump (especially Republican lawmakers) the gumption to stop him. Trump still has the trump card (sorry) of a Supreme Court in his pocket, and I won't be holding my breath, but the lawbreaking and fraud in every direction by Trump is so off the scale ( I was only thinking that I suspect every decision of his now is about how to enrich himself and self-aggrandise, not about the US as such), that these three reversals might just nudge a few more quiet sceptics into saying enough's enough.
The grift is so insane (with added IRS non disclosure clauses roped in), one wonders if the architects of Project 2025 are not in the planning of no more election wins for Democrats.
Some key points in this jigsaw:
There is so much at stake for certain individuals to keep GOP power no matter who's in charge, as long as it's a GOP with leanings towards Netanyahu. You have to follow the money trail and where the money has come from and you have to consider that the fraudulence in some eyes is immaterial as there will be a fix in the elections and there will be no accountability - not in that and not in the agencies that have (as far as I am concerned) deliberately been stripped of their powers.
- Billionaires get tax breaks. One lot of billionaires are the severely lacking in Philanthropy tech giants. Who are collating data and pushing AI. The other set hold the cards on the media with even the normally erudite Washington Post now owned by Bezos. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Thiel does not believe in democracy. He is a technocrat and he travel the country giving talks on 'the end of democracy'. I think this is more than just a wish.
- Trump keeos going on and on about stolen elections. Is this a cureveball to defelct from what's really being planned? In Massie's defeat recently to Ed Gallrein, the same number of votes that matches the same number of mail in ballots is all very suss. Massie had a huge gathering of individuals after the result and Ed had a few dozen. He is extremely popular amongst the moderate Conservatives. It was eerie and contrary to the result. Gallrein had huge backing by AIPAC and Trump, which leads me to the next point:
- If the Democrats win majority's in November, then the open cheque book for Israel will be on hold, the continual destruction of the law and accountability will be brought back, the grifting may be curtailed (to a degree) and let's not forget the thing thing that won't go away - Epstein. Too many people with too much money and power stand to loose if the files are made public and properly and investigated. Nutlick, Thiel, Sultans, Prince's... who knows.
The judiciary and the Supreme court judges are already hand picked for their favour. The laws around accountability are being tweaked. There is little or no transparency in their financial actions and innumerable insiders have benefitted from insider information - all illegal but they carry on regardless and not only do they stand to potentially loose a lot of that wealth in a Democratic presidential win but they may even face investigation but if there are no investigations because... (see above).
It all stinks and there is too much coincidence and usually the opposite of what Trump spouts is true.
Too many high rollers are benefitting from Trump for multiple reasons.
