I wonder if he's thought of how he's going to keep the Strait?
I'm not sure he actually does anything you could call thinking. Thinking bores him. He likes to act.
As to keeping the strait (insofar as the US currently 'owns' it), I'm reminded of a moment of epiphany quoted in a programme I've been following about the yanks kicking us out back in 1776:
"And Washington suddenly has this insight: he doesn't have to win. The British have to win. He doesn't. He only has to not lose."
Iran holds all the cards, and is happy to play the long game.
