No. I won’t respond to you again on this topic. You have once again demonstrated your vile and harmful attitudes and I won’t further assist you getting your jollies.

Your 'gotcha' question doesn't work, so you spit the dummy.

Impressive stuff.

PR, I appreciate this is wildly off-topic, but are you sure you don't know who threw that brick?

Someone dug up a post I made in the other place ages ago.

It's a bit creepy and stalkerish, but in a way I'm flattered.

I've forgotten most of what I read on here within a minute or two of reading it.

That explains much

Remembering what people have said , helps build a picture of their character, and their outlook on life.

Despite claims to the contrary, you've clearly drawn conclusions about me*, and are happy to proclaim them.

Despite allegedly having a goldfish like memory.

In truth , we all do that if we spend enough time in one place.

*And I could of course suggest that was 'creepy' but in actual fact I come across such people on the internet, on a daily basis , so no big deal really.

Sorry, I apologise if my architect's sense of humour is seen to be creepy when crossing between threads... but can't promise as my short term memory is going the way of my mother's. I don't seek to belittle and if that's the impression then it is not intended.

And as well as that my short term memory is going the way of my mother's.

I'll go find out...

Lor don't do that,

You might get a nasty shock..

I'm actually quite a fan of the concept of self realisation, self knowledge, self awareness, n all that shizzle, despite some appearances to the contrary from time to time

But hey, we're all imperfect works in progress etc etc, right.??

My Pa' having had a lifetimes work of contact with young people often going through their 'finding themselves' phase.

Would sometimes idly wonder, tongue everso slightly in cheek..

"What if they don't like what they find??"

No apology needed, by creepy I meant those who dig up posts I made months ago in the other place.

But given the hundreds of thousands of words posted since, I am also flattered anyone remembers what I've written.

Excessive apologising here ??

Seems highly unlikely.

Even I'm not sorry, and im a reflex apologiser usually .
Ha... sorry?

A lowly clerk might say something like 'at least we gave the poor lass a good send off'.

If, as that lowly clerk's manager (and I've occupied the role albeit not in Crown Court), I'd heard such a sentiment advice would have been proffered about appropriate language. It's OK for family and friends at a funeral. It's too familiar for a professional service.

Repetition could lead to disciplinary actions.

Hilariously funny, unless, perhaps, one is personally impacted by dementia or Alzheimers?

But, would offence be caused if the person making the remark was, themselves, suffering the condition?

How would anyone know (particularly on an online forum) who was suffering from what?

Yes indeed, but as I do take trouble to remember one person from another, and had been joking around with Archie for some time , I deemed it ok.

I am sorry of course if I caused him offence

I think it's sadly true, that very few of us have managed to get to our collectively advanced ages without having someone in our lives , or us ourselves suffering from memory loss

Either dementia related , or just age or stress .

My late stepmother being one such victim.

OK. So, it is acceptable to make one's own judgements on what is OK, when conferring with another poster, on a public forum?

Yes of course.

And if it turns out that one makes a poor judgement call, on all that, there are various options available, to make good any damage done.

Edit..

@Archie_tect just checking, are you in fact requiring an apology, for a poor taste 'joke'??

Your :becool: response suggested otherwise, but maybe you were, in fact just toughing it out??
