No because we are not in the EU, fairly self explanatory really!
I think that is the "missed out" bit of the post.

It is going to depend how broad it is, no? The UKs has some lower headline tarrifs, but it was scribbled hastily on the back of a serviette. I have a sneaking suspicion that the EU will have applied more rigour.
Macron also seems to think it was a bad deal...I thought little old UK couldn't get good deals like the EU could?

Macron hasn't actually said anything at all, it is the French PM (which stands for "pointless minister", in France).
As Purple Helmet pointed out earlier, it may well be a moot point.
To be honest all of the EU politicians complaining about it is likely to make Trump think he's got away with one. Double bluff?
A good enough deal considering the alternative i would call it. Having said that, Starmer did an better deal. Probably because the uk isn't part of the EU...
Have the UK missed out on a great EU trade deal with the US?
They will still be paying tariffs to USA.
Not really as neither have a trade deal. What they have is an agreement in principle with the details yet to be clarified.

Someone's paying it as they took $27 billion in tariffs in June this year.No. They. Won't.
