On an account in the name of Caplin I'd expect to find Nicola Sturgeon, Alex Salmond, Peter Pike, and Stephen Crabb. And a good job Peter Bottomley's name is not Roger, or he'd have made the list.

Eh?

I referenced activity not thought. If you have a point please make it.

Most activity is preceded by thought.

Is she being criticised for an oversight, which seems harsh, or for being aware and deliberately not unfollowing him.

(This is getting bad now. I am actually discussing this claptrap 'crime'. It's as relevant and meaningless as discussing the motivations of those people on The Traitors.)

I'm also enjoying the Nothing to See Here alliance between Rusty and Multz.

Sorry, what am I missing? What is there to see?

Being a randy gay hungry for cöck is not illegal. Posting about it so prolifically seems a bit unwise, but since when did you reincarnate as Mary Whitehouse??

Being a paed is illegal...but these people exist in all walks of life. The only thing that surprises me is that he wasn't a Tory.

LOL. I don't think it needs me to do any forging. And (whilst obviously I don't like Caplin, on account of him being an odious shit), "politicians I don't like" is not the correct metric, as well you know. But I love how you've backed yourself into a corner where you have to stand up for these MFs.

What? I'm not "standing up" for them. If it helps you understand I'll point out that I doubt Kemi Badenoch manages her own socials. Or are you implying I'm standing up for Caplin?

Considering the content of Caplin’s account, I’m expressing surprise that prominent people, politicians in particular, followed him. I didn’t bring up Rayner as an example, Multi did.

Here's a thought for you. Check how many followers you have on X. Then ask yourself why it is that the number of views of replies you make is often far fewer.

So in this black and white world if you haven't unfollowed them you are following them? On social media life is so simple.

Is unfollowing as bad as putting on ignore, or as final as cancelling? These are important questions of the time to help avoid a faux pas.

If you're a public figure then you ought to be careful about what your public social media shows.

Does that extend to being aware of every single post or reply made by every single one of the 5000 people you follow?

This seems to be what Claude and Glasgow are suggesting.

Wrong.

Here’s what I actually wrote:
You wouldn’t need to see every post but there’s a high enough volume of dodgy material that would make you question the wisdom of following him.

It's still a ridiculous notion to vilify people on the basis of who they follow. You've no idea why anyone follows anyone unless they specifically tell you.
