I don't consider myself a "rightie * and I don't have a team but I think you're correct and Linehan needs a dedicated thread. I think I've said all I want to on the subject for now because it was pertinent to the free speech issue but when the outcome of his trial(s) is known I might return to it.
*Happy to concede that I'm a lot more (small c) conservative that the majority of regular posters in here and yes I agree that conservative voices are under represented on this forum. That doesn't matter so long as "the majority" remember that they're not as a centrist as they might consider themselves and neither are they a fair reflection of public opinion. If I wanted to just have people agree with me there are other forums out there but it's good to have your views tested by opposing voices.

That's funny as every time I go to the pub and have some discussions I am left with the distinct impression that I am a "righty" and by extension so are most on here. You should hear what they say about that tory with a red rosette, Starmer. Not nice, not nice at all.

It's a pity she didn't take any questions, as I still have no idea exactly what she said to interest the police. At least with Linehan it was clear.

The police often won't tell the accused of what exactly caused them to come knocking, until the point of being charged.

I suspect she will not roll over so easily.
