Haven't followed this in full but sounds the right decision. Too much abuse of the legal process by vexatious litigation is permitted. The process is the punishment.

Indeed, there should be sanctions for the law firms taking these cases to court.

He seems a pretty nasty guy tbh but I haven't seen any posts that I think should meet the threshold of criminality, unless I've missed them. Other people have been arrested for even less of course, many having NCHIs recorded against them. The fact that the process takes so long means you can ruin someone's life for a year until a decision is made.

As far as I can tell they both forcefully criticised Israel's actions in Gaza, and annoyed professional semites.

I haven't been able to find the exchange that lead to the court case against Hunter, but from the judge's comments it appears that it was the other party that provoked the incident.

As for Hunter's comedy, it isn't particularly measured or subtle, but it isn't particularly nasty or offensive either.
