As for Hunter's comedy, it isn't particularly measured or subtle, but it isn't particularly nasty or offensive either.

I think some of his humour is nasty. One of the jokes mentioned was 'Typical Jews.. won't tell you anything unless you subscribe'. He re tweets accounts which are pretty aggressive and imo veer towards antisemitic. I don't think any of the ones I've seen crossed the threshold of criminal communication and if we want free speech ourselves we have to be prepared to tolerate opinions we don't like.

His case isn't particularly unusual. People have been arrested or interviewed by the police over a lot less. There needs to be much more clarity for the police over where the line of criminality lies otherwise the process will continue to be used maliciously (I'm not talking about this particular case as I haven't followed it fully).

Would that come from the government. See Rachel Reeves latest speech to Labour Friends of Israel.
Here's a link to Owen Jones on it -

Everything, anything can be made into a joke or ridiculed

There is always some snowflake going to be offended

People who say this tend to big massive snowflake babies when they get offended.

To a point.

Free speech does not give anyone the right to call for hate and violence against people because they have a different sex, sexuality, creed or race.

There's a fine line between free speech and hate speech and the US obliterated that line long ago.
