It isn't but libido is related to hormones. If you mess with your endocrine system for a decade from age 10 there are going to be health consequences, of which complete lack of libido as an adult can be one.
Hermaphrodism? No such thing. Sounds like a woman with polycystic ovary syndrome who married, gave birth, then fell in love with a woman. It doesn't necessitate that she 'fathered' the second child. I would think rural China is quite conservative and they'd rather call such women hermaphrodites than deal with lesbian women with hairy faces.
No, not a BOGOF. More a way of kids sticking a label on themselves rather than just accepting they are boring old gay or straight like 99% of the population. I miss the old days when kids did harmless stuff like seek an identity through music culture. Some of the flags are pretty though.
