What - one specific Jew who hasn't bothered to do any research of learn what the centre was for that was burned down? DId you read the thread by Malcolm Fox. I find his research more compelling.

One specific jew? It's somebody writing for a 130 year old Jewish American publication with a large readership.

Versus 'Malcolm Clark'. "Head of Research" at the LGBAlliance...the Tufton Street dodgy-money lobby anti-trans group. Part of the nexus of hard-right lobby groups with opaque funding.

You need to do your research

Oh dear. You don't seem to be able to differentiate between simple homosexuality and the consonant bucket of nonsense that is LGBTQIA+.

The letters 'I' and 'A' are not consonants.

Can you tell me more about 'simple homosexuality', only I'm now very concerned that after 50 years of practising I may not be doing it right. If only I'd thought to ask a cis straight man before. Maybe I shouldn't have declined all those offers of 'organic strap-ons' and the offers of conversion therapy - you know - one session with them and I'd be 'sorted out'.

Wasn't so very long ago that the Iains of this world were villifying homosexuals for their lifestyle 'choices'.

Give it a few more years and maybe the Iains of this world will have stopped bullying trans people under the pretext of some fake moral panic and moved on to bullying some other group.

50 years as a Homosexual!?

Im afraid you're into the realms of 'complex homosexuality' and im afraid there may be no 'sorting' that out Monkers...

We'll wait for the expert to confirm, i think...

I'm still confused. I'm not sure if I am 'simple' have a 'complex' or an 'ideology'. The Nazis would have thought me 'feebleminded', but thankfully Ian has a handle on that stuff too. Hopefully Ian will be along shortly to sort me out with some tips on conversion therapy.

He's busy poring over his Homosexual Instruction Manual

Ooooh, there's a manual?! I probably don't qualify as I'm even weirder and more nebulous being pansexual. We don't even get a letter in the "consonant bucket"

Iain's wife has had to ban him from watching Countdown. Every time the board is filled with nine new vowels and consonants he throws his shoes in tantrum screaming 'fark you with your ideologies'.

Seriously Iain when you think you can reduce the non-straight among us to simple homosexuals and some others you can dislike because they use the same alphabet as you, you aren't starting to win any argument.

You know you can manage to be an advocate for human rights without thinking that the vocabulary is well-founded. I am a critic of the terminology as I've explained many times, but I'll not give up advocacy for human rights.

Not sure what you are on about.

Again. It's simple. If you are a man who is attracted solely to men = Gay. Woman attracted to woman = Lesbian. Attracted to both = Bisexual. Queer? Same as Bi. Trans - about dysphoria not sexual attraction. Intersex - genetic condition not about sexual attraction, etc. Not attracted to anyone = celibate.

No one has ever been repressed because they were celibate. The history of the LGB alliance was about fighting laws that made it illegal to love people who you were attracted to. I have never said that I dislike anyone. In fact I have said a couple of times that I have no issue with people being trans, or with people being made more comfortable to live the way that they would like to live. I don't think anyone has an issue with that.

The issues tend to be where one very small minority group starts to stamp over the hard won rights of another group. Where that minority can be subverted or used by people for their own ends - e.g. gain access to women's spaces that they should not have access to by pretending to be trans. And finally the issue of using surgery and medication on people to satisfy their mental image rather than working with them to accept who they are.

You know you can manage to be an advocate for human rights without thinking that the vocabulary is well-founded. I am a critic of the terminology as I've explained many times, but I'll not give up advocacy for human rights.
I don't think I suggested that.
