It’s because Starmer had told him in private to get lost as he has no plan and NATO doesn’t work like that.
I have no doubt that Trump is absolutely amazed that someone has said no to him. It’s just that Trump has zero class , so has to go public.
I can’t wait for the political memoirs in 5 years. Saying what they really thought.

I think UK media pick out his UK rantings to report on, and also perpetuate the myth of the ‘special relationship’.
He is not really particular on who upsets him and is not happy with France and Italy today either.

Trouble is he was doing the same when Starmer was puppy-dogging him. Remember his continually going on about the London Mayor, Scottish wind-farms, "Civilisational Erasure", etc.
