I hear Charlie’s is being sent to mollify the Trumpster next month.

Should take a page out of Trump’s playbook though and publicly threaten to cancel the state visit.
Just for the fun of turning the tables on rent a gob.

Whilst Israel may wish for that, Iran is a huge country as you probably know. Israelis have already said they won’t put boots on the ground and there are plenty western experts saying it would be foolish for the US to do so.

Bombing from the air is one thing, but as Russia found out, when you put boots on the ground the gap in military strength narrows.

The Americans will be all too aware post Iraq and Afghanistan.

Iran has a very large surface area, but the population is highly concentrated in urban areas. I would have to check the numbers, but I expect that the metropolitan areas of Tehran, Mashhad, Tabriz, Esfahan and Shiraz contain thereabouts of 50% of the total population of the country. It is probably within the capability of the US army to turn those areas into Gaza like hellscapes.

Iran has very serious problems with water supply, and it wouldn't take a lot to knock out the potable water infrastructure. Granted, that would be a war crime, but we know neither Israel nor the US care, and no one is going to stop them.

There's no way Trump has made millions and got to his position based simply on other people's advice.
No - his dad gave him the money and then he surrounded himself with people who quickly learned if they could stroke his ego they could make money off him and he would do whatever people suggested.

To get back to the specifics of this administration, at what point was/is he no longer making the decisions? It's a rhetorical question.
I don't think he's ever made the decisions even in the last Presidency. He was fed decisions to make.

The panic is now clear to see and hear.
The contradictions are hilarious, if they weren’t so serious.
Trump’s latest nonsense is that the US will leave in 3 weeks, with or without a deal. But Iran are desperate to make a deal.
And reopening the Straits is apparently really easy for all NATO allies, except USA, who have no idea how to reopen the Straits.

**Thread crossover alert***

The Primorsk refinery has been burning for 7 days now as Russian oil exports have dropped 40% since the bombing of Petrovsk and Ust-Luga. A lot of the oil from these two oil hubs was destined for India:
