Iran are now going for divide and rule. They realise how little support the US has internationally and have apologised to their neighbours they’ve attacked saying they will only attack in future if those countries are used to mount attacks against them.

Right hand not talking to left hand perhaps. Pezeshkian is a "moderate" who may be trying to find a solution that doesn't involve total destruction. Though possibly to Israel and the IRGC only total destruction is acceptable.
