Cos given the current “relationship”, I doubt whether the UK were getting comprehensive updates on the US plans, since it’s clear that the US military weren’t getting them either.

I don't know for certain whether they are all on the scheme, but Dubai actually runs a full paid up 'Influencer' scheme. They get a tax free salary, business support, office space, tech equipment and various other perks. Of course, this couldn't possibly impact their ability to comment freely!

I even read somewhere that 1 in 80 Dubai residents is a state supported 'Influencer' now!

A lot of commentary about how Trǔmp is not listening to those presenting differing views to his appointed "yes sir" minions and how he sacks those disagreeing. ie nobody saying "bad idea" - in my view valid criticism.

But also, far too many other world leaders been doing the same since Trūmp started his 2nd term. Repeatedly Trùmp does something daft and Starmer and other western leaders rush to his side, pouring endless flattery and sycophancy and all just reinforcing his ego. Other Western leader don't say "bad idea" but get press conferences with him flattering his existance.

Carney just a few weeks ago telling western leaders to grow a pair and stand up to Trůmp yet 1st thing Carney does is issue a statement supporting Trũmp not even mentioning "International Law" (ie caved to "yes sir, anything you want sir".

Western leaders have also significantly contributed to the madness through their failure to identify daft stupid stuff asd being daft and stupid.
