I think it's fair to say that anyone taking this view should spend the rest of their life in total, abject misery and excrutiating pain.

Its interesting how so many are condemning the USA, but make no criticism of Iram for attacking hotels etc in countries that are not involved in the conflict, eg Saudi, Bahrain, UAE etc

No condemnation either of Iranian threats to non military shipping using the Straits of Hormuz

A missile strike on a school whilst targeting adjacent military targets is regrettable, but is of a very different category to random attacks on civilian targets in non combatant countries

Those countries have US bases which is why Iran considers them a legitimate target.

That the Iranian regime is attacking it's neighbours is terrible, but let's be realistic here. It was predicted and is part of its desperation to cause a crisis in the region and damage the west by damaging its oils supplies, but has been brought about by a joint attack from the US and Israel, while negotiations were still taking place, that is causing a huge multiple of deaths and damage in Iran compared to those neighbours, both of civilians and military, on a pretence of "imminent" danger from Iran.

In your quest for fairness, if you want to compare death tolls as a result there are less than twenty reported deaths in those neighbouring countries, compared to thousands in Iran, including those "regrettable" deaths of 150 schoolgirls...and Hegseth is boasting that there will be many more.

Don't we have US Bases in UK?

We're a little but further away from Iran than Dubai.

True, but, missiles are not the only way to deliver bombs.

The killing of innocents (and that includes the Iranian schoolgirls), is to be condemned, however if people start firing missiles, or shooting at each other 9even with the assistance(?) of AI, then, sooner or later, a "mistake" will occur, with consequences. It is not as if it has not happened before.

The fact that the 'war dept'' tried to say it wasn't them speaks volumes.

The 400 odd comments are rather telling. Aside a few idiots talking about putting a school next to a base as a defensive measure, from this US attack, ( the school having been there for 15 years) it’s almost unanimous condemnation of their administration.

Exactly. And this is why Starmer has been trying to distance the UK from the US. Yet we could still get drawn in.
All while muppets in this country saying that we should join in and go gang ho. All jolly good japes. 😡
