I'd been background thinking that towards end of Trúmp's term he'd be giving Presidential Pardons to those like Hegseth, etc. who have lied, misled, etc. in his name. But further thought and I don't think Trůmp cares enough about anybody else to bother. Sort of in what way would it be in Trümp's personal interest to pardon Hesgeth and others?

Depends on how he wants to be treated by those who follow him?
Giving himself an unconditional pardon for *anything and everything* kind of mitigates that though.
