Some bizarre framing by Byline Times. If you accept that armaments are sadly a part of national defence, then selling parts to an ally hardly feels problematic. The problem is a one-time ally going completely rogue.

At one time, we were allies, so this doesn't make the UK culpable.

At what point do the Americans decide that enough is enough as oil prices are set to keep rising and rising?
I mean, Trump is in a corner of his own making and he hasn't got an exit strategy there's np way forward and stepping down will be seen as failure. So, the only thing that will stop the conflict is the removal of Trump. Surely his inner circle are feeling the heat and realsing the absurdity and pointlessness of this conflict. It will reflect on them eventually.

I suspect it may be pretty quick now. The American public aren't bothered about the racism, the criminality, the lying, the corruption or the abuse of women, but make it more expensive for them to drive 1200 miles to visit cousin Billy-Bob in Idaho, and they will be packing their heat and heading down to the White House (or Mar a Lago).

The trouble is I kept on thinking "This must be the tipping point" at each of Trump's increasingly mad missteps, but each time... 'crickets', as Americans would say. I think it's gone on so long now that they can't see any way of admitting they've fucked up.

Maybe you're right. I do hope so.

It'd be a good excuse not to have to bother going to Idaho though.

ETA: My bad, I was thinking of Iowa. Idaho is stunning.

He'll do what he always does.

Lie, deflect, lie, distract, cause outrage, blame others, rage, lie...
