Cynic in me suspects Netanyahu going for atrocities bad enough to push Iran into resuming war before Trùmp gets round to putting ceasefire (and his out of the disaster he created) above Netanyahu's need for more killing and Gazafication.

Push Iran to resume missiles and drones and ceasefire over and Israel can send in its bombers and US has little choice.

Unfortunately the past few weeks have shown that Israel's attacks are not just at the behest of Netanyahu but more systematic.

Israel has overstepped by an unimaginable amount but I cannot see Israel totally collapse as a country. Israel as we know it today, maybe.
