Uneasy feeling about this…..

After talks between Israel, Lebanon and the United States in Washington on Tuesday, Israeli Ambassador to the US Yechiel Leiter tells gathered reporters that representatives from all three countries "discovered today that we are on the same side of the equation and that's the most positive thing we could have come away with."

He adds: "We are both united in liberating Lebanon from the occupation power dominated by Iran called Hezbollah."’

opening a new front in their war, by blockading chinese tankers, must be too dumb even for these dumbfarks

China buys a small % of its oil from Iran and has several months of storage. They prepared for this a long time ago (naval blockade of the other strait: Malacca).
they can still get oil just not from Iran.

US intelligence is now saying the Chinese have been providing missiles to Iran and there are murmurings they could deliver the anti-ship missiles agreed prior to this war.
Not really the impact it may sounds they might have as having missiles does nothing if you can't launch them, and they Iranian navy is kind of out of Navy ships to fire them.

China has 400 bn investment in Iran and isn’t going to throw it away easily. The Iranians are all set up for a war of attrition. The Yanks won’t like paying more to fill their gas guzzlers and Trump will have to concede at some point.
That's what they claim, but considering how anxiously they keep the internet and outside communications blocked and the stories that are coming out form outside, reality might be a little bit different.

The Iranians are also hinting, via the Houthis, that they could close the Red Sea shipping.
Houthis begged the US to stop bombing them the last time, they are all talk but no actions, as they know they won't like the consequences

As per Hormuz, they don’t actually have to close it, but with the occasional missile threat, it’ll knock the confidence of all shipping companies and their insurance underwriters.
That's why Trump has now "closed" it, also note it is closed for any tanker going to Iran any other destination is fine. So Trumps move makes Iran's threats useless

It’s a good time to be a utility cyclist.
Yes but the be honest, it's almost always a good time for that. (except for the beginning of the year maybe i was running low on shoes because they where all soaked at one point.

You mean Trūmp has told everybody the US has destroyed the Iranian navy ... and Trūmp always tells the truth and is 100% accurate in his achievements.
The U.S. has destroyed most of Iran’s navy. But not the one Tehran uses to control the Strait of Hormuz.

he regular navy operated Iran’s big battleships largely for prestige and occasional long-range deployments. The paramilitary Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, on the other hand, has its own extensive fleet of more nimble boats designed to control the crucial waterway with missiles, mines and harassment of commercial ships—and they are much harder to reach.

In fairness to Trump he did mention the little boats they are indeed not nice if you have an unarmed cargo ship but they are no match for the destroyers the US has there now. which is probably why they haven't even tried and rely on China complaining about it being unfair and such.
