I fundamentally disagree with his weaponising of The Gender Debate, and I've got no way of telling whether he actually hold the views he espouses, but I find his posts more entertaining and thought provoking than a good deal of the current forum content.

I kind of agree with you here, having been vaguely entertained by a few of his posts. But then I remember his weirdo stalkery website and it all just feels a bit uncomfortable.

His wife is real, and charming. I've met her on several occasions and she has appeared at the top of hills bearing delicious edibles for groups of cyclists.

It wasn't. I knew that you knew it wasn't true. But you and I aren't the only people reading this. Call me a spoilsport, but I'm not convinced that reappearing on a small forum prompted by the desire to wipe out another member is significantly more healthy than reappearing on a small forum to chuck rhetorical paraffin on the smouldering remains of its gender wars.

For clarity, I didn't know whether or not he has a wife. And that was the point. We can all post lies, can't we.
