Who hamas, or those being shot in the back of the head?

The collaborators.

Unbelievable that you are condoning these executions. You have no idea what the allegations are against the men shown, whether they are true or false, or whether they deserve it or not (they don't, nobody does).

That’s my understanding too. Presumably these traitors understood the penalty for collaborating with an enemy and carried on anyway. They are effectively spies caught behind enemy lines, a status which has historically resulted in summary execution.

Presumably, based on past performance, Hamas knew the penalty for poking the Israelis with a sharp stick (ie the Oct 7 event), does that justify the Israeli response?

They opposed Hamas, didn't really like the druglords and terrorist. Could be because they wanted the be the boos could be because they wanted an real country, where the goverment protect it's citicens instead of starving them all guesswork but enough for Hamas to kill them. Terrorist don't like competition

Yes, according to the Hamas leadership peviusly feeling very safe in Qatar i shared video's before where they in several media proudly announce the then deathtoll of 50k was not nearly enough and that the tide was turning against Israel so that i was well worth it and that it should be much more.
That same Hamas also said multiple times that protecting civilians was not their job. Whilst the ones that would have that job are not allowed in, so that makes them co-responsible for the deaths. Apart from the fact hat of the official death toll numbers vary from 50 to 73% if those being in actuality Hamas fighters in civilian clothes. Which is a war crime (fighting in civilian clothes)

If you catch the people directly responsible then, yes.
Bombing an entire people in the hope of hitting the few is not proportionate.

Thats your interpretation of a battlefield. Israel has played that game before.

This time, the atrocities were so great, hamas hiding amongst the population wasn't going to stop Israel.

You could easily think hamas were happy to sacrifice their fellow Palestinians from the leaders comments.
