in the first line she reveals she hoped for a "left wing" and then continues to call something a zionist block, it's a bit like asking Tommy Robinson to comment on any arab country i mean if you go in with an certain bias off course you are gonna be dissappointed.

I don't think she called anything a zionist block, but points out that the opposition parties are all explicitly zionist and that the Arab parties aren't. Eisenkot has said he won't work with the Arab parties until the recognise Israel, and his party is also against a two state solution.

Yeah i don't need to think if it's in the text, along with the starting shot that she was apparently expecting a left wing something. I don't understand how you can call yourself a political commentator and be so devoid from reality.

I do think it is a surprise that despite being fatigued by all the conflict, so many people still voted for a bloc thst will keep Netanyahu in power. My guess from several commentaries is a messy minority government. Depressing.

I know English isn't your first language and don't want to sound insulting, but, even allowing for that, how do you make out that this line "Exit polls gave the opposition hope, but then reality dawned" shows she hoped for a left-wing victory?

In other words, nothing will change other than the people's names. 😢

I assume english is your first language and i don't want to sound insulting but how do you claim something leaving out the essential part the full context is: "Exit polls gave the opposition hope, but then reality dawned. With most votes going to rightwing parties, the prospects for the left and centre now look bleak"

She either is an really bad political commentator or hopes speak louder then knowledge because no-one ever claimed left was in the picture let alone have a chance at winning except in her mind.

None of that gives any idea of her political leanings. That was just your imagination.

The article is really pretty neutral.

I suspect we in the time of slippery words and compromises "in the best interests of the country". ie anything might happed despite whatever has been said before including new (for "one end of the spectrum") interpretations for language.

For example, my dictionary defines two meaning variants for "recognise"
1 identify (someone or something) from having encountered them before; know again
2 acknowledge the existence, validity, or legality of
who is to say which variant the Joint List may have been using? etc.

It's always a combination of things being fatigued also lead to people supporting those whom them will think will go down the hardest on their enemy. But that's just one possible motive then we also have the people who will support Nathanyaho either because it helps them or because they fear the alternative. and then after that it might be for the poeple who want nathanyahu out.

That's your opinion which i disagree with.

The number of times you've accused people who criticise Israel of being pro-Hamas gives you limited credibility when it comes to this discussion.

I never changed or hid my opinion, not about Hamas, not about supporting Hamas, not Isreal, not about Nethanyahu. Apperenty that's to hard for you, i cant help that not everything is black and white, right or wrong, stupid or smart, fat or thin, big or small, gigantic or tiny etc. etc.
