Seems like the Royals are a great distraction from the many wealthy, corrupt, selfish people with power and influence who are doing genuine harm to this country (most of whom inherited their privilege and/or status).

I wouldn't even put Prince Charles in the first thousand to be up against the wall when The Revolution comes.

Despite him being top friends with Saville, partied with Jonathon King etc etc

Yup, I'd still easily find a thousand more bullet-worthy than Charlie boy. (In fact you could probably find several thousand who have spent more time with Saville, if that is your main metric of a life well lived.)

I'm a republican lol....they might not be near the top of the wealth tree but I'm guessing there not pawning their jewels yet ! Must have dented Lizzie's purse a bit paying out 12 million to protect her nonce son though...maybe have to cut back a bit like the rest of us ?

An extra day off for me , however the better half is working . So scuppers a long weekend away . Will I be sitting with the bunting out , not likely.

Do remember her silver jubilee back in 1977 ? The whole street celebrated . Was a big thing but again different generations back then .

Can I just point out that those union flags are upside down, which is understood to be a sign of distress and an insult to the Crown.

In fairness, what we can see of the packed throngs of happy, joyous, Queen-and-Brexit-loving revellers rockin' the roof off that establishment do look a bit, erm, distressed.

It's a proper 'old bloke's pub' and this was taken at about 3 in the afternoon so hardly surprising not many were in, as for the flags, they were put up by the 25 yr old barman so I doubt correct orientation was a consideration.

Just the way we like it, keep the sour faced, tree hugging, politic talking left wing wokey w4nkers away.

I'll get another pic tomorrow night when a few more might be in if it makes you sleep better.;)
