I see the Bank of England has let it be known that it will not hesitate to act while doing nothing at all. K-K is going to make an emergency statement in 8 weeks time. The markets are going to love this....
For the moment, it will likely be the same people who have already profited from shorting the pound, thinking there's more money still to be made. If the BoE or the Canceller of the Exchequer don't come up with something resembling coherence soon, it will probably be the same people plus the majority of FX traders who will gain. The pound rallied slightly this afternoon with traders expecting the BoE to raise rates. When it didn't act, the pound restarted its downward trajectory. And that's where we are now.Given that this was a predicted result by many economists, who stands to gain?
Who's betting against the pound this time?
Have any of our government's supporters popped up to defend this utter shoot show yet?
This venal party are ripping the guts out of the country, making themselves and their donors richer while tanking the economy and making pretty much everyone else poorer, anyone wanna tell us they voted for this?
All those red wall voters who chose Johnson and Brexit over Corbyn and socialism....doubt there feeling good about it now.Have any of our government's supporters popped up to defend this utter shoot show yet?
