Which reminded me of the Preston Model.
Didn't know about that, interesting stuff. Although the Preston Council website says it's powered by a company called Goss, who are based in Plymouth...

When we were trying to get an indy candidate elected at the last GE posters and boards were a huge part of raising awareness, and directing people to more information. It's because posters are used to demonstrate to swing or tactical voters the strength of feeling towards a particular candidate. So for example, for an anti-Tory voter, knowing that some people will definitely vote Tory makes the poster displays more, not less important, since I can use them to help gauge where my vote is likely to have the most effect.
Plymouth has a smaller more specific version of the Preston model, mainly based around food.Didn't know about that, interesting stuff. Although the Preston Council website says it's powered by a company called Goss, who are based in Plymouth...
I had 1 Labour bloke knock on my door, but he wasn't the one standing. I've had 2 or 3 leaflets from Labour through the door, and 1 from the Tories. Nothing else.
Somerset update. Just got back from a ride in a different direction, Cossington, Sidcot, Ashcott, High Ham loop, only Conservative signs, and maybe no more than 6 in the whole ride.
