A lib Dem has commented that for the first time Reform will actually have to take responsibility for something

rather than just say whatever they want and then complain that no-one did what they said and how wonderful it would have been if only they had

but now they actually have to do something

Round here it will be interesting to see what the new Runcorn MP will do to change the way the 2 Mersey bridges work
she promised to change the system to a system like the M6 and M6 toll where you can take the new toll route or the old no toll route
without any concept of how it would work or now it would be funded
or how the local discount scheme would work
or how the liaison with us - Widnes - on the other side of the river would operate

but now she at least has to do something about it - even if it is only a speech in The House - but where she can actually be challenged to come up with plans

Quite amusing for a Lib Dem to comment on that, they being the original "no responsibility" commentators.

Realistically, a single MP, from a party which is not in government, is very unlikely to achieve much, regardless of which party they belong to.
