I'm afraid it's true. The room I spend evenings in doesn't have a TV. All my TV knowledge comes from reading reviews. But then, I don't even use the radio in the car.

I do listen to the wireless radio, but it's only on when I wish to hear a particular programme and when I can concentrate on it. Then it goes off again so I can hear myself think. Background noise music drives me mad - background TV is even worse.
