I see that the BBC has cancelled Frankie Boyle's New World Order series.

To put this in context, this is a comedian who in order to meet demand has 12 consecutive nights in Leicester Square in order to meet demand, on top of all his other dates around the country. This follows the axing of Mock The Week and The Mash Report.

What is left for satirical comedy? The über-lame Have I Got News For You, and that is about it. Boyle himself has expressed no surprise "given the current climate".

Climate? He's referring to the capture of the BBC by a political party. We should be worried.
