I heard a report on the radio about a brothel which had a 'sex dungeon' so presumably that's where you'd go to use it.
I recall a report in one of the tabloids some year back involving the head of an office on the other side of the Pennines, but with which my then office work closely. Various activities in the cellar, described as a "sex dungeon", of the house of the head of office; most of which involved nakedness and by, so far as I am aware, consenting adults. Certainly the police were not involved.
Of course the (IIRC) Daily Heil made a meal of it and the head of office was forced to resign.

Here's a term I hadn't heard before (though it's amusingly obvious). From an article about Wagner.
In The Homosexuality of Men and Women (1914), the gay rights reformer Magnus Hirschfeld described Bayreuth as 'a very popular gathering place for Uranians from all over the world'.

We had shared professional interests as the geographical areas our offices covered bordered each other. Also, for reasons lost in history, certain formal hearings for work in parts of our area, took place near the other office. Our office head would frequently attend these hearings and take the opportunity to build upon our working relationship.
When the so called news was made public, she did tell me she was "disappointed" not to have been invited to the parties. Although how much of this was tongue in cheek, I don't know.

"Nicola Sturgeon has claimed Liz Truss quizzed her about how to land an interview in Vogue magazine when they met briefly at Cop26 last year."

From the Graun.

On the BBC yesterday as well, albeit buried in the Scotland page so not considered newsworthy.

sturgeon claims many things...doesnt mean they are all true

She's a far, far more intelligent and astute politician than Truss, who is quickly establishing herself as even more of an embarrassment than Johnson, and the shower of sh!te who have been in charge of England for years.

I love England. I love living in North Shields. Watching it get ruined by a horrific, venal government who routinely lie to the electorate to suit an agenda is very upsetting. Sturgeon has her faults, but I believe she learns from her mistakes and tries her best to make amends for them. She's one of the better ones IMO.

So - which politician or politicians, who you do't consider to be 'fückwits' or 'in it for themselves' persuade you to vote for the sort of things you vote for?

Not a 'gotcha', I'm genuinely curious.
