But as Rusty Nails said, it's not the Oxford Debating Society – for all I know they call people that all the time.

The easiest way to see if I'm selectively blind is to put up some examples of what you consider to be hate. We can all have a gander and decide for ourselves.

You witnessed the pile on I've been subjected to this week using a false allegation. Later Rusty disproved the point. I'm the most usual target with the reason being that I'm trans. I'm mostly polite and I ask for evidence when false claims are made.

This week there was the usual digs about being trans means that I am a paedophile or a predator. It was Aurora who was promoting that this week.

As usual I asked for the evidence that all trans people are predators. There is none. She can not produce it. There is evidence to the contrary, which has been presented often enough.

You are free to consider, and decide for yourself if this is reasonable behaviour or otherwise.

I didn't see a pile on, I saw Andy CXR and Aurora challenge you about whether you had confected a story about your Aunty to which I contributed that "if" you had done such a thing then it was extremely bad form. Rusty then brought some info into the discussion from 2023 that I wasn't party to at the time. I only got involved because I had seen some of the vile names aimed at Aurora from the Monkers account and I was amazed that people seemed to just accept it.

I haven't seen anyone accuse you of being a paedophile but I'm happy to be corrected as I've only been here a few months and I don't read every post on every thread. I also think you're misinterpreting the cartoon you linked to which I don't see as accusing you personally of being a predator, rather it's illustrating a more general point that people can be blind to an issue if it doesn't affect them personally.

The language got a bit ripe but there were a lot of insults flying in all directions, and ripe language is not necessarily a sign of or the only way to show hate, especially in this day and age when it is fairly commonplace.

From what I have seen on this forum people have a view on an issue and are more likely to disbelieve people who take the opposite view to themselves. Objectivity goes out the window.

There is history and a pattern. I don't suggest we waste time searching history. I do ask you keep an open mind and be alert to it in the future.

It was 2 people who obviously have history with the Monkers account having a go. I didn't see a pile.on. I didn't see anyone call someone a paedophile because they were trans. I didn't see anyone accuse or imply that a trans person was a predator simply because they were trans. Anyway I'm out, those personally invested can argue it out.

The point of that cartoon is that men do not understand why women find all men potentially scary. It's typically tactic of yours to tell everyone that this opinion means all trans identifying men are being called predators. They aren't. The point is they are no different to other men.

Literally nobody has ever said. The onus is on you to explain why a subset of men should be treated differently from other men.
