The UK hasn't said its going to do that, why should the French?
The UK hasn't imposed all the checks agreed yet because they haven't got their house in order to cope with it. The French are under no obligation to help the UK out, because it was the UK that decided to leave in the manner it did.

because thats what you do in a negotiation, you agree things that other people want, in return for something else.....they could have easily agreed no passport stamping......same as we agreed trade deals with one country, that others dont have
