Likely variability in reporting sources. I don't tend to watch BBC news as I find it rather bland, I tend to use sources that provide more background and analysis and that aspect has been focusing more on the healthcare aspects than the murder itself and/maybe as you say, not a lot more to say about the on the ground events.Eh? It was on the BBC's front page every day until the suspect was detained. Meanwhile a local murder didn't even reach the UK page.
