Does anyone actually ride a bike regularly on here?

Don’t all rush, but the ballot for the Jubilee concert has opened.
It Andy’s only option for a ticket so I’m certain he’s signed up.

The Royal Family have had a terrible few weeks. Their PR department need the sack.

Was there no one better to help the Queen than Andrew. Why not Edward, or even Mike Tindall. He’s a big strong chap.

Apparently Andrew insisted on doing it and it was intended to be his final public appearance before he disappears from public life. I expect all future news of him will be stuff like 'Sad Andrew cuts a lonely figure as he eats lunch/has a drive/visits Queen...' . He never really invoked any affection from the UK public and he really won't be missed.

In the Queen's eyes, apparently none better. Either she doesn't have a PR department, or she listened them and chose Andrew anyway.
(I know which I think is more likely.) I'm pretty sure the PR team didn't get the final say, and why should they?

Careful now, you’re coming close to saying that the queen may not be the utterly saintly figure we are supposed to worship. If that belief falls the whole ridiculous pantomime might collapse and then where would we be?

Forgiveness is a major foundation stone in the Christian faith. (loving your family - parents and children - is also generally supported).

Forgiveness is understandable, and if Andrew was sat in the pews I don’t think anyone would be too outraged.

The surprise comes from being the chosen person to escort the Queen down the aisle.

The Queen can forgive him without offering him outright promotion at centre stage. He’s so arrogant to put himself in that position.
