I think we have identified the root cause here...
Some people want things to taste of something other than their actual flavour?

Looks like today is going to be a blast on French roads for those going on holiday... where to go? 🤔

I’m confused by this, not helped by my lack of French. Why would there be a difference in how difficult a journey is leaving compared to returning? Surely that depends on your start and finish point? I’m guessing it’s me be unable to work out the meaning of the note in the legend box.

Traffic is busier leaving Paris to go to the SW than it is going to Paris?
Guesswork based on the location of the dot in each map.

In South Wales we have Joe's ice cream. It's a Swansea based Italian family ice cream maker with just a couple of shops. I am not sure what flavour it is as it is nothing like any other ice cream I have tasted. Its ingredients are a family secret but it is absolutely wonderful.

As a kid in the valleys we had a lot of immigrant Italian coffee and ice cream shops all selling their own recipe ice creams in our town. I can remember the names Ferrari, Carini, Fulgoni, Speroni, all sadly gone now.

They’ve been selling it in my local Spar this summer. Their mint chocolate chip was the high quality on I mentioned previously.

Vanilla is by far the best when made properly, not your mass market substitutes. Although I have to say I had a Hazelnut Gelato again a proper gelato not your mass market stuff and it made a nice change but would never replace Vanilla.

I wonder how that did in the charts in the 60s...
