If you stopped drinking the Telegraph Koolaid to bolster your prejudices you might note that the increase is due to deaths on 60mph and 70mph limit roads and absolutely irrelevant to the 20mph limit.

Deaths in the 20mph limited areas stayed flat after the decrease in the first year after their introduction.

Will @Stevo 666 now be campaigning for all speed limits to be reduced to 20mph to save lives?

Because of the success ofthe 20mph in the first year limits will be reduced by 5mph every year until there are no deaths on the roads...except those caused by mad cyclists riding like nutters on car free roads.

I think it has been explained before, there isn’t a blanket 20mph speed limit in Wales.
