If you’re watching cats does countdown for the actual game play, then you are watching the wrong show.

It's an aspect of something I find frustrating with regard to Royalty and illness. Very sad that the King and his daughter in law(?) suffer/suffered cancer but for them no waits beyond NHS target times for appointments, no treatment delays, no losing their pitiful income when the can't work at full productivity, etc. With limited sympathy my real concern is for those with limited means for whom the impact on their day to day existence presents massive challenges on top of their illness.
I'm surprised that some large stores like John Lewis now allow dogs in. I've seen pretty big dogs like German Shepherds, being walked round a crowded John Lewis. I like dogs but I think you should accept that it's not really fair to take them everywhere with you. You should accept that limits and inconvenience are part and parcel of pet ownership just as much as the joy they bring.
Well i think this should be an very important pint and lesson for Americans, because we can rant about the NHS what we want he needed to sell everything he had before he died just to pay for his treatment and the fundraiser now is just to keep to keep his family in their house.Ok. It’s sad that the guy from Dawson Creek has died.
But should the public be asked to fund a $2 million Go fund page me for his family?
People die every day.
Unless it’s some sort of horrible accident and the victim was penniless, I can’t see the merit in getting the begging bowl out.
Maybe I’m out of touch here. But this is the rant page.

I feel the same about other peoples kids.

Actually, you aren't. But I think you are being a bit harsh and there are lots of better Darwin Award case studies every year.I think he is referring to a waterfall walk in Wales where idiots fall over.
Similar to the idiots who do hillwalking in winter wearing trainers and t-shirts.
PS - Yes, I am victim blaming.
In fairness she did have to put up with visits from Boris Johnson and Lizz Truss in her last days. So it wasn't all plain sailing.I had the exact same discussions when my mother in law was in A&E for 72 hours. It was around the time the queen died.
I bet the Queen didn’t have to put up with that.
He's American and had bowel cancer. I'm gathering from the BBC article that typical of America his treatment has cost most, if not all, of his money - thus the gofundme. It's about America still being in the stone age with healthcare.
@BoldonLad 6 of the top 10 donors are Anonymous. Spielberg has gone public. Guardant Health are using it for PR. Some of the more famous I suspect may be doing it a somewhat of a humblebrag.

OK It's a fair cop.
New rant.
At some point during lockdown, the rules of the road seem to have been revised such that if you want to park, you just drive onto any bit of pavement wide enough for a car. Really boils my watsits that these lazy bloody delivery drivers (it's usually delivery drivers) can't park their fecking cars legally. And it boils my watsits even more that the council seems to do sod all about it.
Most of these places have parking very close, or round the back.
Barstewards!
