As I posted above, apparently DV are not allowed to report incidents to the Polling Station staff. I can understand that as were this to be allowed they would be taking the role of "supervision" rather than monitoring.

My local polling station staff generally wouldn't notice voters holding an orgy in the room. That said I'm rural and just 2 people staffing at any time and max. a couple of voters.

I was thinking along these lines too. The possibility of getting a copper to our polling station in anything like a practical time to do anything about it is less than remote

Other than possibly sight impaired, why would more than one person be allowed in booth?

We have postal votes. At last renewal, Mrs @boldonlad’s right to vote was queried, because she has Alzheimer’s, and, has difficulty signing her name. At this time she is able to read, and watches news etc.

Just catching up with this family voting thing. Sorry if this has been covered but it appears Reform are making a big deal of it and are reporting it to the police. Did they wait until they wait until the results were known before kicking off. Would they have reported it if they had won?

Similar to how Reform UKIP were all set to challenge an expected narrow defeat in the Brexit referendum but when they then won changed their point of view to it being the ‘will of the people’ and anything short of the hardest possible Brexit therefore being a betrayal of the people.

Last night on BBC Newsnight (after "family voting" issue raised by DV before any result) Chairman of Reform was asked and said along the lines of it being a concern but they wouldn't be kicking up about it.

Postal voting is one thing that makes the influencing of someone in the Polling booth pale into insignificance, statistically.

Yes, I have already mentioned that:

How do you control “family voting” with postal voting?

It has long been claimed that “dodgy” practices happen with postal votes.

Interestingly, it is always those who didn’t get elected who claim this.

There are regular claims, locally, of "activists" visiting elderly voters, and "helping" them complete their Postal Vote.
