How anybody can vote for these tossers I’ll never know.

I agree, but when the two main parties are showing themselves to be incompetent, then the shisters will move in to take their place. And the less well informed will fall for the nonsense.

Willingly supported by a malevolent right wing media agenda.

I just wish either Labour or Tories could get their acts together.

Farage trying to block ‘Britcoin’ plans that could be costly for billionaire donor
Nigel Farage has been trying to block a Bank of England cryptocurrency plan that could be costly for the billionaire bankrolling his party.

The Reform UK leader has said Christopher Harborne wants nothing in exchange for the millions he has donated to the party and the undeclared £5m personal gift to Farage that the Guardian revealed in April.

But Farage used a private meeting at the Bank to urge the governor to drop plans for a state-run alternative to the digital currency that has made his Thailand-based benefactor one of the richest people in the world.

Legitimate concerns innit and because no-one else speaks for the people or something like that. Or to put it another way, because they legitimise their own beliefs and massage their grievances that the reason their lives aren't perfect is due to anyone but themselves.

Haha. It won't make any difference to South Tyneside losing this one.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4gyr763n0qo

Alex Clarke was elected to represent the Harton ward on South Tyneside Council but claimed he had been given to understand he would only need to attend six meetings a year.

His resignation comes after the Hope not Hate website reported he allegedly made antisemitic comments about England footballer Djed Spence and made sexist remarks on a podcast he runs with his partner.

Clarke claimed he thought he had resigned several weeks ago, but had done so incorrectly. Reform said it was aware Clarke had submitted his "official resignation" on Thursday.

The council confirmed Clarke had officially resigned from his post on Thursday, but he said he believed he had stepped down several weeks ago.

He said he was never told the "official way to resign" and had emailed the person he believed would process his departure.

Imagine being so thick you don’t know how to resign.

...and then not realising you hadn't.
