We'll just have to disagree on this.

He's reframed the narrative, that for sure. By shouting "nothing to see here" and gesticulating wildly at his wallet.

My prediction is that the by election won't go ahead, one way or the other (the flounce related one, I mean, rather than the recall petition one).

However, if I'm wrong, my next prediction would be Count Binface not losing his deposit. Which would be the absolute perfect humiliation.

Think that's fair, but I think CB could do a lot better than that. I think he will play on Clacton's opportunity to make international news, for starters.

If it goes ahead it will be at the level of an unofficial referendum, i.e. where only one side turns out to vote.

But I could still see Binface getting 15% or something like that.

Genuinely think he could win, with the whole world looking on. I mean, they voted Farage in as a joke. Didn't they?
